POLAROID TIME-ZERO ONESTEP

format: polaroid time-zero

acquired: march, 2003

details: the Time-Zero images on this site were taken with either this camera or my girlfriend's SX-70 Model 2. Polaroid doesn't make Time-Zero format cameras anymore, but they still make the film (although it's hard to come by nowadays), so these cameras are still useful. what's unique about Time-Zero is that while the image develops, the emulsion can be manipulated to create all sorts of interesting effects. using any variety of tools (or even your fingers), you can bend and mush the image, apply pressure to change colors, add texture, and all kinds of other cool stuff.
