details: this camera belongs to my girlfriend, Ann, but she lets me use it on occasion (usually when i've forgoten mine). it's now considered an "old" camera by digital standards, but it still takes great pictures (the colors, in particular, are always nice and vibrant). there's no viewfinder, which is a minus, but the lens that rotates back into the body is an ingenious design -- i don't know why Nikon abandoned it.
