LOMO LC-A format: 35mm acquired: january, 2003 details: the Lomo is a quirky little Russian camera. it's a manual camera except for the exposure system, which is fully automatic. whatever method it uses to calculate shutter speed and aperture is unlike most other cameras and always seems to create unique, colorful (with color film, that is) images. its small size makes it easy to carry in a pocket and it's duable enough that i don't have to worry about breaking it. i tend to just carry it around with me all the time, always loaded and ready to capture something interesting. |
